The Adult Residence Program strives to empower individuals to fulfill their maximum potential, providing learning opportunities within the framework of natural settings and natural proportions, with natural supports. Individuals are encouraged to contribute to the community through volunteerism and to enjoy community life through smaller, more individualized community outings.

The Adult Residence Program encourages families of the residents to take an active role, not only with their son or daughter, but with The Center as a whole, acting in a dynamic partnership to accomplish The Center's mission of helping individuals with differing abilities achieve their dreams by overcoming barriers to living, working, and enjoying recreational opportunities in their community of choice. Families are encouraged to participate in committees at each house to help improve the overall quality of the house's environment.

A person centered approach to programming, combined with methods of structured teaching, help create a unique treatment plan for each individual based on his or her strengths, dreams, and preferences, assisting and supporting the person in reaching his or her goals and living a fulfilling life.
